Stroke School

Ages 6-12

Coached from the deck, this 45-minute class provides an extension of Swim America, with a wonderful transition to Swim Conditioning or Swim Team. Class will focus on further stroke refinement and building endurance.

On the first day of each session, an assessment will be made on each student to make sure it is a proper fit. Students must be able to swim two lengths of freestyle with side breathing and backstroke and have a base knowledge of butterfly and breaststroke.

Bryndi has been with Club Greenwood since 2005 and teaches group and private swim lessons. Before working with the club, she was a pool manager and taught lifeguard training. Bryndi grew up in the hot summers of central Iowa and you would find her at the pool most days in her childhood! She loves working with the little ones – making the water a fun and safe place to be. When she’s not in the pool, she’s busy watching her son play basketball or traveling to the mountains in the winter to get some snowboard days in!

Katie has been with Greenwood as a member on and off as a swim instructor and coach since 1988. As a kid growing up on the East Coast she spent every summer at swim team practice or meets and the rest of the day at the swimming pool. She loves watching kids overcome their fear of the water and then gaining a love of swimming. She is now mostly doing private lessons coupled with Stoke School and Swim Conditioning.

Cama Jo has been with Club Greenwood since 2001. Specializing in perfecting all 4 competitive strokes, structured workouts, along with teaching the Adult learn to swim programs and stroke schools. She is certified Swim America, WSI American Red Cross and USA Coaches certified. Cama Jo believes swimming is an exercise gift that can last a lifetime.

Erin began her employment at Club Greenwood in 2007. She has spent time in a few different departments including Marketing and Aquatics, but has spent the majority of her time at Club Greenwood as part of the Business Team. She graduated from Cherry Creek High school and went on to graduate from Colorado State University. When Erin is not at Club Greenwood she is spending time with her husband Adam and her two boys Bradlee and Carson.
