Club Greenwood is home to an elite level in mixed martial arts training in the Denver Area. We provide classes in Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Our martial arts and boxing professionals have been trained and certified by the world’s best martial artists such as Dan Inosanto, Rigan Machdo, Surachai Sirisuite and Erik Paulson. We also offer private instruction in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali and Indonesian Silat.

Technical Martial Arts Classes

BJJ Self-Defense / Intermediate

12 main assault defenses are taught. You will learn how to escape when being grabbed from a headlock and basic punch defense.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)

This martial art is founded on the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent.

BJJ All Levels

This is an introduction to the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Learn the basics of ground-based fighting includes getting an opponent off you, gaining submission from an opponent and surviving an attack.  90% of all confrontations end up on the ground; this is an excellent art for self-defense.

JunFan/Kali - JKD / Kali

JunFan/Kali combines techniques and principles into a practical and usable self-defense system that capitalizes on the participant’s strengths and talents. The class teaches three major areas of martial arts related self-defense – kicks, punches, trapping (immobilizing) and grappling. No prior experience.

Morning Rush

Develop confidence and reduce stress learning essential boxing drills and techniques.

Muay Thai Kickboxing

This kickboxing class not only combines the fighting techniques of Muay Thai kickboxing but also other disciplines as well.

Wing Chun

(a form of Kung Fu) – Wing Chun focuses on maintaining flexibility and softness in postures while keeping the strength to fight back. The martial art, introduced by Bruce Lee, is low impact and focuses on narrow hand movements to take down an opponent. No prior experience needed.

Cardio Conditioning Classes

Fitness Kickboxing

Using techniques from kickboxing into a fitness circuit, you will learn how to properly use a heavy bag, perform drills with mitts and do flexibility drills. Great for any level. Get in shape, increase flexibility and improve cardio.

Boxing with Brandon

Take your boxing fitness to the next level with new glove skills, cardio and resistance to keep you in fighting shape.

Ladies in the Ring

Get the kids ready for the day, then take some time for yourself in this high intensity class. Keep your stress level down and your health in check while you learn proper boxing technique.

Rumble

Combine boxing and strength work in a small group setting. Expect a lively and efficient workout that will get you in shape and relieve stress.

Kids Martial Arts and Boxing

Club Greenwood provides, kickboxing, self-defense, and martial arts classes for kids in a safe, fun environment.

In this class, kids will learn the basics of striking (kicking and punching) and self-defense. All Club Greenwood classes emphasize discipline and fun, while working on physical fitness.
